Dubai: Transporting Passengers in Bus, Luxury Vehicle Between Emirates. Here How to Get a Permit

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has outlined the process for obtaining permits for transporting passengers between emirates, particularly in buses and luxury vehicles. This comes as part of an initiative to regulate cross-emirate passenger transport and ensure safety and compliance with local laws.

Transport companies or individuals wishing to operate inter-emirate passenger services must apply for the necessary permit through the RTA official channels. The process includes submitting an application with detailed vehicle specifications, along with driver qualifications and safety measures in place. The authority will also require proof of insurance coverage for both passengers and vehicles.

In addition, applicants must ensure that their vehicles meet the standards set by the RTA, including comfort and safety features for passengers. Luxury vehicles, in particular, are expected to adhere to higher standards given the premium service they provide.
